LEGAL ASSISTANT

Isabel Garcia

My name is Isabel Garcia Marte, and I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida International University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a minor in International Relations, and a certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. My career aspirations were deeply influenced by my mother, a judge in the Dominican Republic, who inspired me to pursue a path where I could make a meaningful impact and help others. As someone who is passionate about justice, fairness, and equality, I am committed to ensuring that individuals are held accountable for their actions. This sense of purpose ultimately led me to a career in law.

Currently, I am a Legal Assistant with three years of experience at William J. Sanchez P.A., where I support clients with immigration applications, legal documentation, and the preparation of various immigration forms and petitions. My role also involves conducting legal research on immigration laws and regulations, as well as communicating with government agencies such as USCIS, the Department of State, and Immigration Courts across the country to ensure our clients’ cases progress smoothly. Gaining this experience has deepened my passion for law and my desire to help those who don’t have a voice. As an immigrant, I understand firsthand the challenges they face, and I’m driven to provide legal assistance that helps them find stability and improve their lives.
